Fear Free Certification ~ Good Dog Fetch

I am so happy to announce I now have my

Fear Free Certification!!!

Yay me!! But what exactly does that mean?

It means I have the knowledge and skills to help you and your animal prep for veterinary visits to help your animal stay calm and stress free during procedures and visits.

I can be hired to come with you to the vet clinic to offer guidance to you and the staff on how we can keep your animal happy with less fear, stress and anxiety! I can also come to your home to work with you and your pet to provide your animal some skills and confidence to be the least stressed possible.

As a Certified Fear Free Professional Trainer, here is what I can offer you:

  • Collaborate with the veterinary team and coordinate with you, the pet owner, to help implement and administer veterinarian-prescribed in-home care plans.
  • Apply follow-up care in your home, including use of equipment and administration of medication provided by your veterinarian.
  • I can work with the veterinary team and pet owner to ensure success in giving in-home care. While the veterinary team guides the medical aspect of the treatment and all questions and concerns related to medication, dosage, or other health concerns,  the trainer  (that’s me) can provide support by helping to condition a calmer, more positive care experience.
I am so excited to be able to offer this service.  If you are needing assistance to keeping your dog happy on vet visits, please give me a shout.

Saving the life of one dog won’t change the world,
but the world will certainly change for that one dog.
