Finally, I have gotten my household moved, some of my boxes unpacked, and my internet up and running, for more than just an hour this time.
And just in time for this lovely spring weather to appear. Spring weather is the perfect time to start classes again. No better time to spend quality time outside with your dog, training and having fun.
So here we go, the schedule for the spring:
Beginning Manners Class ~ Sunday’s 6 pm March 9– April 13, 2014 Closed
- Location ~ Tennis Courts on Buckner in-between Mockingbird (white rock lake dog park) and E. NW Hwy (Flag pole hill)
- This is a 6 week class, Class fee is $135.00
Beginning Manners Class ~Thursdays 7 pm April 3 – May 8 , 2014 FULL
- Location~ EastLake Veterinary Hospital, 10101 E. NW Hwy, Dallas, TX
- This is a 6 week class, Class fee is $135.00
Canine Good Citizen Class ~ Sunday’s April date TBD
- This will be a 4 week class, Class fee is $85.00
- Location ~ Tennis Courts on Buckner in-between Mockingbird (White rock lake dog park) and E. NW Hwy (Flag pole hill)
- Final class is the test day
- Test location to be determined.
Advanced Canine Good Citizen Class ~ Sunday’s 5 pm March 30– April 27, 2014 (we will skip Easter Sunday, April 20)
- This will be a 4 week class, Class fee is $85.00
- Location ~ Tennis Courts on Buckner in-between Mockingbird (White rock lake dog park) and E. NW Hwy (Flag pole hill)
- Final class is the test day
- Test location to be determined.
One Hour Just-for-fun-shops
Skateboarding – One Time Class – Sunday New date to be announced
- This is a one time class – Class fee is $20.00
- Teach your dog to skateboard (skateboards provided)
- Location ~ Tennis Courts on Buckner in-between Mockingbird (white rock lake dog park) and E. NW Hwy (Flag pole hill)
Ring the doggy door bell – One Time Class – Sunday 7 pm March 23 (Doorbell cost is separate)
- This is a one time class – Class fee is $20.00

Put your toys away – One Time Class – Sunday 7 pm March 30
- This is a one time class – Class fee is $20.00

One Hour Workshops:
Leash Aggression/Reactivity – One Time Class – Sunday New date to be announced
Are you embarrassed to walk your dog because every time they see another dog, person, bike, car, or moving object, they lunge, pull and bark at whatever they see? This one is for you. This is an all time great skill to teach your dog, how to be neutral to items that scare them.
- This is a one time class – Class fee is $20.00
- Location – Tennis Courts on Buckner in-between Mockingbird (white rock lake dog park) and E. NW Hwy (Flag pole hill)
Leash Walking – One Time Class -Sunday 4 pm March 23 New date to be announced (No leash reactive dogs in this class please)
Does you dog get over exuberant while on leash? Do they pull you down the street to see another dog or squirrel? This is the class for you.

No Jump Greeting – One Time Class – Sunday New date to be announced
Is your dog so friendly that they can’t wait to see anyone that comes to visit or tries to pet them while on leash? This is a great class to learn how to teach you dog some self-control and show them they will be highly rewarded with lots of pets and kisses for not jumping on your guests.

Appropriate Dog to Dog greetings – One Time Class – Sunday 7 pm April 6
Do you panic when a dog wants to come up and greet your dog, and the owner hasn’t asked if it is ok? Does your dog like to run straight up to another dog, overwhelmed in their own exuberance? Come learn what an appropriate greeting should be.
- This is a one time class – Class fee is $20.00
